- Breathing Space (In-Person). Looking to vent or talk something out? Religious Life invites you to come as you are, talk to a peer counselor, drink some tea, or take a moment to relax. Wednesday, May 4 - Friday, May 6, 3:00-6:00 PM. Learn more here.
- Yoga Class (In-Person). Religious Life offers free yoga classes in Earl Hall every Tuesday evening this semester. No pre-registration is required. Please bring your own mat and arrive 5-10 minutes early to sign in and set up. Tuesdays, 7:00-8:00 PM. Learn more.

Racial Justice Mini-Grant Program Events:
- Practicing Zora (Virtual). In this roundtable, academics and artists will discuss how Zora Neale Hurston has inspired their work and the phenomenon of Black women’s use as the “sliding glass door” that opens up new conditions of possibility. Participants will reflect upon the instrumentalization of Black women to ask: How can we tend to Black women’s memory and legacy with care? Wednesday, May 4, 4:10-6:00 PM. Register here.

- Virtual Shadowboxing (Virtual). Columbia PEREC is offering a free pop-up shadowboxing class for all levels! TODAY, May 3, 7:45-8:45 PM. Register here.
- Public Rights: The History of an Idea (In-Person). Columbia Law presents a panel discussion on new research by University of Michigan professor Rebecca J. Scott, who will present a project titled Rights in the Plural: 'Public Rights' in Reconstruction Political Thought. Jamal Greene, Dwight Professor of Law, Columbia Law School will provide commentary. - Say It Loud: Poets, Preachers, and the Politics of Black Faith (In-Person). This evening, hosted by Josef Sorett, will feature a combination of live performance and conversation about the history and cultural politics of the spoken word: the connections between Black poetics and preaching, religious tradition and the literary arts, and performance as a practice of freedom. - 2022 Human Rights Advocates Program Applications. The Program is designed for human rights activists working with NGOs on a variety of issues. Apply by Thursday, May 12.
- Summer 2022 Virtual Internship Application. Columbia Global Centers invite applications for virtual internships around the world. Despite travel restrictions, you can still find a rewarding opportunity as a global intern during the Summer 2022 term. Apply here by Sunday, May 22.
