2:00 PM - 3:30 PM
America/New_York
Kent Hall, 1140 Amsterdam Ave., New York, NY 10027 201

University Life invites you to join us for Campus Conversations: Accessibility, Ableism, and Advocacy. This workshop will explore our understanding of disabilities, how ableism works, and how it is all intertwined with our daily work and interactions at Columbia University. This training will challenge each of you to think critically about what you’ve learned about disabilities, your implicit biases, and how you interact with individuals with disabilities.

RSVP is required. This Conversation is first-come, first-served until capacity is reached. Lunch will be provided to registered participants.

This event is part of the Campus Conversations Initiative. Campus Conversations is a dialogue-based initiative created to build community and connections through real and deep conversations. It offers students, undergraduate and graduate, a way to talk about identity, societal norms, and issues of national and international importance with others throughout Columbia. To learn more about the Campus Conversations Initiative, visit https://universitylife.columbia.edu/content/campus-conversations.
