Racial and Social Myths in Global Health: Seminar Series

April 20, 2022
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
America/New_York
Online Event

On behalf of the Columbia University Life Racial Justice Mini-Grant Program, we welcome you to join our online events about racial and social injustices in global health organized by Columbia University DrPH students Joanne Michelle Ocampo and Alejandra Paniagua-Avila.

Our three-part Seminar Series will grapple with the racial and social myths that underly global health education and their practical implications. At each event, we will hold conversations and reflections around a practical case study with speakers, panelists, and with you, our audience. We will reflect on what we can do to improve our own global health education and practice, recognizing that current
students and trainees are tomorrow´s global health leaders. These events are intended for those interested or engaged in global health and humanitarian work. Register and receive event information
