This workshop will give participants a foundational understanding of what violence and abuse may look like, how it may impact victims or survivors, and the skills to respond to disclosure in a supportive and trauma-informed way. The goal of this workshop is to begin to equip participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to respond when a peer or loved one discloses harm that has occurred or is occurring to them.

Please note, this session is primarily for students at the School of General Studies, but is open to students at all other schools. This satisfies the Sexual Respect requirement of the 2023 Community Citizenship Initiative.
