The Graduate Welcome is an annual event, which serves as an introduction to the Graduate Initiative for Inclusion and Engagement for new and continuing students. Through this event, participants have the opportunity to engage with peers and professionals with shared identities and lived experiences, form connections, and build their community at Columbia. The Graduate Welcome keynote, panels and workshops focus on providing participants with access to knowledge and insights that will help them navigate their successful transition to, and progression in their graduate studies. This initiative was designed with the needs of students from historically marginalized communities in mind, including BIPOC and first-generation students. All students are welcome
Students are able to attend the entire day or portions of the event that work for their schedule. Please register for the event using the registration page.
