Take the Columbia Student Well-Being Survey!

Monday, March 26, 2018

Today begins the Columbia Student Well-Being Survey, an important way for you to contribute to what we know about campus life, mental health and gender-based misconduct.

All students who complete the survey will automatically be entered in a weekly drawing to win $50 and $100 Amazon gift cards. We’re giving away 350 gift cards, so the sooner you complete, the more chances you have to win! Unless you win, you’ll be re-entered every week the survey runs…so take it now.

Look in your Columbia email inbox for your survey invitation from wellbeingsurvey@datastat.com. DataStat is an outside company that will aggregate and protect the privacy of your responses. Columbia will only receive anonymized data – your participation is totally confidential. Note: If you forward your Columbia UNI email to your Gmail or another service, the link will not work. To take the survey, you must click the link in your Columbia UNI email.

By taking the survey, you’ll also contribute to a state-of-the-art effort to understand and address student mental health globally. Columbia has partnered with the World Health Organization for this important study, and universities from Europe, Africa, Asia and Latin America are participating, along with several in the U.S.

The survey’s success depends on you – by sharing your knowledge and experiences, we can work toward specific changes to help inform and strengthen resources, programs and campus life for all Columbia students. We will share key findings with the community as soon as we are able.

You can also connect with student ambassadors with “survey swag” in your schools and around campus to learn more. Read frequently asked questions here: http://universitylife.columbia.edu/wellbeingsurvey.

For now, check your Columbia email today and take the survey! With our thanks,
