Radhika V. Patel
Radhika Patel is Vice President for Strategy and Operations for the Office of University Life. As a founding team member, she has launched a wide array of successful student-facing initiatives, such as the Community Citizenship Initiative and the Student Well-Being Survey. Radhika has played a pivotal role in University Life’s growth, success and impact since its inception in 2015 and has wide-ranging experience in operations, strategy and team-building. She oversees communications, operations, strategy and planning for University Life.
Prior to her service at Columbia, she previously worked as the Managing Director for the American Red Cross, leading long-term recovery for New York State following Hurricane Sandy. She also shepherded successful large-scale economic development and real estate investment advisory projects in New York City and abroad for 10 years. Radhika is a proud Columbia alumnus; she earned master’s degrees in urban planning and international affairs from the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation and the School of International and Public Affairs. She also earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Michigan.
Radhika enjoys Sakura Park when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, coffee at beautiful spots and regards Istanbul as her home away from New York.
