Sound Art in the Library

Friday, October 19, 2018
4:00pm to 6:00pm

Six students from the Sound Art, Master of the Fine Arts program present an evening of engaging site-specific installations, using the spaces of the Music & Arts Library. Please join us for the 4th annual iteration of this stimulating event! Light refreshments will be served.

The Sound Art M.F.A. program is comprised of artists engaging in critical study of sound, and working with this medium as an integral part of their artworks. Works employ a multidisciplinary approach to sound -- including performance, video, computer programming, and sculpture.

The event is cosponsored by the School of the Arts Sound Art M.F.A. program; the Libraries; and the Music Dept.
