ROOTED Dinner & Dialogue Series: "How does your identity shape your mental health experience?"

Thursday, March 28, 2019
6:30pm to 8:30pm

How has your upbringing influenced the way you approach health and wellness on campus? How do your identities impact your experience of mental health services? What would a healthy Columbia culture look like? Join us on Thursday, March 28, 6:30–8:30 p.m., for dinner and dialogue!

ROOTED Dinner & Dialogue is the hallmark dialogue series from Undergraduate Student Life. Students of all identities and experiences are invited to participate in peer-facilitated conversations on a host of topics. Past topics have ranged from “Politics of Hair” to “Gentrification in Harlem” to “Complications of Classism in Community Service.” Each conversation’s goal is to explore how power and privilege intersect with the topic, what participants can learn from hearing one another's experiences and what can be collectively gained through recognizing our own power and social responsibility.
